Abstract

The main objective of this article is to promote the discussion about the possibility of combining the infiltration of agents, which constitutes a special technique of criminal investigation, with the award-winning collaboration, an important means of obtaining evidence, commonly used in criminal forensics. This work presents the doctrinal concepts and legal provisions that have on these institutes in the Brazilian legal system, as well as some jurisprudence around the matter. Finally, the article briefly addresses the normative provisions that deal with the figure of the infiltrated agent in comparative law. It is worth noting that the present article does not seek to exhaust the proposed theme, but only to promote reflections on the possibility of mitigating the infiltration of agents in Brazilian law and its consequent combination with the institute of award-winning collaboration.
